Issues with attaching other apps in Heroku to QuotaGuard Add-on

Problem:

 

  "I am using the manage attachment feature for my quotaguard addon and for some reason when I attach new apps it sets the URL to something different than what my addon shows in the setup dashboard."


Solution: 


  We are working with Heroku to resolve an issue when users modify their environment variables after signup.  


 Currently Heroku caches the environment variables that were setup during signup.  


  If you upgrade your plan or use the attachment option the environment variables that Heroku has cached will be setup on the dyno instead of the ones you put in.  


  If this happens to you, you will need to setup your environment variables again, using the provided URLs from our dashboard.
